Life at Katywil: Katywil's location
As of January 1, 2010, the Definitive Plan for Katywil has been approved by the Town of Colrain. Two houses are built and occupied. Two more are under construction. We are now investigating renewable-resource projects: microhydro and community-wide photovoltaics. Our first community garden is also in the planning stages.
